Hana Krupková was born in Chotěboř in East Bohemia. She is beautiful and she is well aware of her virtues. She marries Václav and they want to live a happy life but unfortunately they live in bad times. But Hana is beautiful and beauty can be used to pay with. The regimes are changing and Hana and Václav constantly live under threat. Hana must rely on her body so that she and her husband have a chance to survive.

Docufiction based on the life of Hana Krupková, a real character from the Czechoslovak history, about the strength to survive under all regimes. Tomáš Dianiška, who belongs to the most successful contemporary playwrights, is characterized by a sarcastic view of the Czech history which enables him to portray iconic moments of the Czech history with hyperbole and humour.

The play was awarded the prize for The best first staged Czech play of the year 2023 at the Theatre Critics’ Awards.
