SOREX
Tomáš Ráliš
Cast: variable
Car parks, factory halls, lodging houses – and there you find both pure love and love cracked like a bathroom floor tile. Workmen, immigrants, lost souls and angels. Arms that would like to embrace the desires and ideals scattered long time ago, arms that would like to become wings. Arms that would like to fly, arms that wipe the floor, assemble, screw, and carve.
Shadows of souls that find themselves in the deserted landscape of daily routine, indifference and burnout, souls dreaming of distant homes.
And thousands of shrews – sorexes running around them chasing food.
People. Animals.
And how do you live? Like people? Like animals? Are you running in a circle, or has life caught up with you?
Eat as much as you weigh every day, run, dig, love, lose until your time is up.
Until your heartbeat stops.
Until someone runs over you.
Until something eats you.
Until something still eats you.
