Verecká, Tereza

She was born in Prague. She has graduated from The Jaroslav Jezek Conservatory and HigherSpecializedSchoolin the field of creation of texts and scripts, her works were published in the anthology Ruznobjezky. She was awarded the Vladimir Vokolek literary prize for the category of poetry for 2008. At the moment she is studying dramaturgy at the Theatre Faculty of AMU in Prague. She has been actively involved in writing song lyrics and translating them. In 2009, the radio station Cesky rozhlas Vltava has broadcasted her play V pasti (In a Trap) as a part of a cycle called Hry a dokumenty nove generace (Plays and documentaries of the new generation).
