Zuza Ferenczová belongs among the most successful Slovak playwrights of the young generation. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava where she studied theatre dramaturgy. She is as a dramaturg of the Arteterapia International Theatre Festival, cooperates with the OZ Tucet Theatre Group and she is also a playwright of the Platform 11+ International Project which focuses on the creation and staging of dramatic texts for young people. Along with Anton Medowits she wrote plays Rečičky (Rumours) and Solitaire.sk  which won the DRAMA competition in 2007. Among the other successful titles are Babyboom, which was one of the winners of the DRAMA competition in 2010, and a play for young audience Problem / Vyskočit z kože (Problem / Throw a Fit). She also works as a storyliner.
