Saavedra, Anna (CZ)
She was born at the Baltic coast to a Czech-Chilean family. She studied theatre dramaturgy at JAMU (Brno). She is a member of the theatre Atelier, Eva Talska’s Studio Dum, and a prestigious clown society Champ de tension. She has written fiction (Promena, Chilske deniky, Cizinec), stage adaptations (Horecka, Hedda Gabler – hra s mrtvou mysi, Eva, Eva!) as well as full-length plays (Putovani; Racek; Smrt abonentu; Dum U sedmi svabu; Ceska mena; Paso a paso/Cesta zraneneho bojovnika; Kuracky a spasitelky; Mamma guerilla/Tajna zprava z planety matek). Her play Kuracky a spastitelky was awarded the first place in the Evald Schorm Awards for 2011 and Dum U sedmi svabu the third place in the same competition in 2010. At the moment she is working as a dramaturge at HaDivadlo,Brno. She plays the accordion in an underground band D.H.R.
