Kuras, Benjamin

An author of 18 plays (16 of them were originally written in English), 4 English and 26 Czech books and more than 2.000 articles in Czech newspapers and magazines. He studied English philology at PalackyUniversityin Olomoucand since 1968 he has been living in London, nowadays alternately with Prague. He has also been a member of BBC Czech editorial team and a theatre manager (Young Vic theatre in London). Among his best known titles are the books Češi na vlásku (The Czechs on a hair’s Breadth), Jak přežít padouchy (How to Survive Rogues) and Tao sexu (The Tao of Sex), which was even adapted for stage.
